First lady Michelle Obama has admitted that she has and will steer clear of shorts following the infamous 2009 picture of her that made rounds around the internet and gained mass criticism. While it's not Obama's only fashion choice that has come under scrunity, she says that she is always happy with her fashion choices but "sometimes I forget I'm the first lady and I'm running around in shorts". What do we think, is it appropriate for the first lady to wear shorts? Is there an exception seeing that Michelle Obama has always been an nontraditional first lady and fashion icon?
